I 3D-printed some plastic caps to mask off the lug nuts and valve stem on my 2022 Ram Promaster 3500 when I applied PlastiDip. I liked the look of the covers so much that I designed some lug nut covers that I could install permanently.
My Winnebago Solis 59PX Ram Promaster van with the Mount Washington Hotel in the background. The black wheels greatly improve the look of the van, in my opinion. I used Plasti Dip spray to black out the stock 16” alloy wheels on my 2022 Ram Promaster 3500. This DIY mod saved me a lot of money and the result is fantastic.
Since I take my wheels on and off for seasonal changeovers to and from snow tires, I wanted a way to mask off the lugs to minimize the risk of the Plasti Dip peeling when swapping tires. I designed and 3D printed some thin plastic caps that I could install while spraying the wheels.
The caps are installed in this picture. They worked well. I sprayed them with some tires shine to prevent the plastic dipping from sticking to them. I had no problem removing the caps and leaving the Plasti Dip in place.
I designed and 3D-printed some sturdier black plastic caps that I could permanently install over the lug nuts. To keep them in place, I designed the hex recess large enough so that they could can be pressed on over “ColorLugs Vinyl Lug Nut Cover” that I found on Amazon

This series of pictures shows the custom 3D printed lug nut cover from different angles.
The flare helps to grip the lug nut cover for insertion and removal.
It also shows how the lug nuts look with just the vinyl cap installed, with the custom 3D-printed lug nut cover installed, and without any cover installed.
I was suprised how such a small detail could make a big difference in the overall appearance.
The process of designign and printing 20 lug nuts covers was lengthy but worth it. It provided a way to personalize my van that I am proud of. I am interested in printing a set of white covers.
2022+ Ram Promaster Phone Mount Bar - Accessory Mounting Bar with 3 RAM Mounts B-Size 1" Balls -No Drill - Custom Design- 3D Printed

I am excited to introduce this no-drill, dash-mounted phone and accessory mounting bar that I custom designed for my Winnebago Solis 59PX built on the 2022 Ram Promaster. This mount provides versatile mounting options for phones and lightweight accessories in 2022+ Ram Promasters that are optioned with the UConnect 5 NAV system equipped with a 10.1” touchscreen.
The 3D-printed mount provides three 1” ball attachment points for mounting accessories such as phones, dashcams, and action cameras (e.g., GoPro) for both the driver and passenger, located at the driver and passenger sides of the touchscreen. The three 1” balls serve as attachment points for RAM Mounts B-Size dual socket mounting arms.
In my van I attach three short RAM Mounts dual socket arms to each of the attachment points. I mount phones on the driver and passenger sides of the bar and a lightweight TireMinder TPMS monitor at the center position.

The accessory mounting bar and the RAM Mounts dual socket arms are almost entirely hidden from view, providing the cleanest setup possible. Advantage of this cusotm mounting system include:
Provides a sturdy mounting location for three lightweight accessories
The top surface of the dash can remain clear of devices
Accessories can be mounted in positions that keep vents clear, which is important on hot and cold days
Llong mounting arms aren’t required to reach the phone. Since the devices are mounted around the perimeter of the touchscreen and the touchscreen is easily in reach, the phone is mounted in a convenient, easy-to-reach location
Suction cup mounts are not required. This was an important requirement for me since I sometimes install black out shades / window coverings

The 2022 Ram Promaster Accessory Mounting Bar is installed behind the 10.1” touchscreen using two existing screws. You MUST have the 10.1” touchscreen that is mounted with two screws approximately 6 - 5/8” apart to utilize this mount.
